Eurycoma longifolia Jack, commonly know as Tongkat Ali,
has been extensively used as a traditional remedy for a variety
of medicinal uses.
Tongkat Ali is a tall, slander shrub-tree from the Simaroubaceac
family and is found along the hilly jungle slopes of Malaysia.
Traditionally, the roots of the Tongkat Ali is being made in ointment
to ease abdominal pain and fever. The roots can also boiled and
administered as a tonic to women after childbirth. Other parts of the
plant is also used as paste to heal cuts and wounds.
